Pregnancy

Pregnancy is not often what we see in movies and on social media. It may not be what you had envisioned or expected. Even a physically “easy” pregnancy may bring up feelings of anxiety or depression. If you are having these feeling for struggling with stress, relationship issues, body image or just want to prepare emotionally for having a baby, I am here to help. I will work with you to manage difficult feelings, expectations, and increase relaxation and coping techniques to have a better pregnancy and beyond.

Postpartum Depression & Anxiety

Your baby has arrived with all the joy and excitement that can bring but you’re not sure why you’re feeling so anxious, sad, or depressed or why you might be having some really scary thoughts. Just know, you are not alone as many as 50-75% of new moms experience the "baby blues" and one in five women and one in ten men develop a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder during pregnancy or within 12 months after birth. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, sadness, things feel off, or you just feel lost and overwhelmed, I can help support you as you find your way through parenthood. I can help slow you down and learn coping tools to manage uncomfortable emotions. Together we will help you relax in a quiet uninterrupted space where we can focus on you so you can process and adjust to do more than just survive and enjoy being with your baby.
